We know Heidi Montag had plastic surgery but how do we get a bangin' body when there's no doctor in the house? Ring in Whitney Port and her celeb personal trainer, Danny Connolly. The celeb duo reveals the top workout secrets ofThe City star and gives you tips on how to build a celebrity body.

"The human body is an adaptation machine," says Connolly. "The skills I have honed over the years along with my extensive knowledge enables me to radically enhance any person's physique, regardless of present fitness level or experience. 

Connolly(shown below, left) who's been training with the 24-year-old City star since her pre-Hills days and has over 20 years in the fitness industry, has seen Port transform.

“In college, I gained 25 pounds,” says 5-foot-10 Whitney, who has since brought her weight down to 115 LBS.

“I’ve tried to stay in shape no matter what the season.”

As her trainer Connolly believes the body needs change to keep changing and to keep Port in shape, Connolly recommends Whitney engage in circuit training and recreational activity.

Whitney Port Workout Move: Travelling Lunge

"I eat healthy and I work out a couple of times a week with a trainer. I hike a couple of times a week as well."

Even with the pressures of Hollywood, Port stays content with her outer fitness.

“I’m satisfied with my body. I feel healthy and strong," Port says. 

Whitney Port Workout Move #1: The Travelling Lunge

"Lunges are a 'standard' trainer favorite, and can be done by most people unless you have knee issues like I do," says Connolly. "Try to do this move by going slow, and PAUSE at that lowest position," he recommends. "You will become a believer!"

Whitney Port Workout Move #2: The Flabby-Thigh Terminator

"Flabby and un-toned thighs don't stand a chance against this move," says Da

nny (move not shown). "My usual recommendation is to try to hold for 15 to 30 seconds on each rep initially, to 'heat up' the inner thighs and glutes maximally."

Whitney Port Workout Move #3: Suspended Knee-Ups

One of Connolly's favorite moves for a sleek Whitney Port stomach, suspended knee-ups are done almost every time during one of Whitney Port's workout sessions. He adds, "And she actually enjoys them! It is an exercise that requires a lot of upper body strength just to maintain a high and upright upper torso position," says Connolly. "Try to perform sets of 5 to 15reps," Danny says and "Increase your 'hold time' as you gain strength and confidence." He adds that Whitney started off "struggling with sets of 5" but revealed she can now do 15 per set "with ease".

Whitney Port Workout Move #4: Butt Toners

"This exercise is supposed to be a lower back extension or 'hyper-extension' to be exact," says Connolly, "[But] I have my clients learn how to 'flex' their glutes early in the repetition for maximum sculpting and 'lifting' results." Connolly says there are "certain techniques" to the move to keep the focus on the glutes.
