Promoters Gal NYC and NYC’s Premiere Lesbian nightclub, Henrietta Hudson hosted Whitney Mixter in NYC thanksgiving night. Hundreds of overwhelmed intoxicated women of all ethnicities and ages awaited the highly anticipated arrival of the popular reality show star, the Real L Word’s Whitney Mixter.
Once she stepped into the already jam packed nightclub she was the toast of the evening! Sweet pandemonium swept through the room, as Women from every side of the small VIP room mobbed Whitney and swarmed all around her hoping for a picture with the newly popular forever charming “reality” star.
The MC of the evening was none other than Fay Carmona, the outspoken openly gay co-host of the Luis Jimenez Show at X96.3 New York. Her brash attitude and sexy no holds barred personality kept the eager female masses entertained until Whitney showed up to greet her very willing fans.
Henrietta’s security did their best to secure Ms. Mixter from the overzealous fans but just couldn’t control the rushing mob. Woman after woman after woman each contended for five minutes of Whitney’s attention. The VIP passes entitled you to free drinks and hopefully face time with Whitney.
It seemed like every attempt Whitney tried to catch a breather, droves of women continued to mob her. Whitney showed her much appreciation for her fans by posing for pictures, joining in the libations and keeping the women entertained with her never ending charisma.
I managed to catch up to Whitney later on that night before she dashed out of the party, that was scheduled until 4am. I asked her was there any other projects in the works other than the second season of the Real L Word?
Ms Mixter a native New Yorker and Special FX makeup artist told this journalist, "I don't have any other acting projects on my agenda just yet, but I am open to other acting possibilities in the near future."
Currently she’s building a not-for-profit organization and looking forward to the release of the DVD ‘Voodoo Cowboys’. A zombie apocalyptic based Horror film she did the special FX makeup work on as well as copping one of the lead roles in the film, due out 11/30.
Overall the night was filled with plenty of excitement, great music, and a lot to be thankful for according to most of the women in attendance Thanksgiving night.
