Is it possible that Whitney Houston did not die accidentally? When we first heard the news of her death we were told she died accidentally in her bathtub. Some people believed the story while others may have had their doubts. Then there was talk that her body was filled with drugs. Today more information is slowly coming out. According to Mail Online, a private investigator has come forth to say that Whitney may have been killed over a possible drug debt.
The private investigator, Paul Huebl claims “he has already submitted a video collaborating his story to the FBI. The National Enquirer is reporting that Huebl believes the troubled star was targeted by several “high powered drug dealers who sent thugs to collect a huge debt she owed for drugs.” She owed $1.5million to dealers, according to some reports.”
However, Huebl told MailOnline that, “he doesn't know for certain that Houston was killed - only that evidence he collected could point in that direction.” According to Huebl, Whitney received a shipment of cocaine the day before she died. She was previously harassed by the dealers who wanted their money.
What Huebl has is a video of two unidentified men who were constantly seen hanging out with her entourage. These two men could be her would-be killers.
Huebl also disagrees with the Los Angeles County Coroner's ruling that the star's death was accidental. ''Whitney’s body shows classic defense wounds that would have occurred while she was battling for her life.”
Huebl doesn’t believe the authorities wanted to release this information because they didn’t want to tarnish the name of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Is it possible information would be withheld because of the hotel?
It does seem rather odd that a true story of the celebrity’s death would be held back because of the reputation of a hotel.
The Daily Beast wrote, “Houston wrestled with demons, drugs, and heartbreaking betrayals that continued to haunt her even after her lifeless, bloated body was found face down in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton on the eve of the Grammys. Autopsy results revealed just how much self-inflicted damage Houston had done in her 48 years. The scalding bath water had burned her face, and there were bruises on her forehead, chest, and upper lip and numerous scars on her body. Years of cocaine use had burned a hole through her septum, she had heart disease, and toxicology tests showed residue of marijuana, Xanax, Benadryl, and other medications in her system.”
Again, why would Whitney take a bath in scalding water?
Then there is the mention of the National Enquirer. This magazine is not known for its credibility. According to essays.com, The National Enquirer has a remarkable track record for avoiding libel suits using a combination of First Amendment freedoms, aggressive lawyering, and patience. In recent years, however, the newspaper has been sued successfully by several celebrities over stories that were shown to be false.
The question which remains is why would a credible former police officer and private investigator release his story to the National Enquirer? Surely, if the allegations are real there are better magazines to report to.
Alas we are left with too many questions and not enough answers in the Whitney Houston death case.
