Just hours after Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, tribute performances were already being planned. On the eve of the Grammy Awards, Jennifer Hudson signed on to sing one of Houston's hit songs at the Awards show on Sunday. In good company, "Glee" star Amber Riley also pays tribute to the deceased 48-year-old in Tuesday's episode.

In preparation for the Grammy tribute, Jennifer reportedly broke down on more than one occasion while rehearsing for the performance on Sunday.
Amber Riley recorded her performance of "I Will Always Love You" several days ago. In an eerie twist of fate, the Valentine's Day episode will now serve as a tribute to the fallen super star. Amber and co-star Lea Michele both honored Whitney today.
Amber Riley: Thank you guys, I would have been honored to sing a tribute to her at The Grammys but honestly I don't think I would have made it w/o crying
Lea Michele: @MsAmberPRiley I can't believe you're singing "I will always love you" this Tuesday on #Glee
Amber Riley: @msleamichele I'm glad we get to pay tribute to her.
Both Jennifer and Amber gave their all in these two amazing performances. Which one did you like best?
