Whitney Houston found dead

 
Whitney Houston is dead.
 
News services from Los Angeles are reporting that the 48-year-old who was once married to Bobby Brown, a fact now confirmed by her publicist Kristen Foster.
 
Lt. Mark Rosen, of the Bevery Hills Police Department said that the Beverly Hills Police Department responded to an emergency call at the Beverly Hills Hotel Saturday.
 
He added that hotel employees and fire department officials attempted to revive Houston on the fourth floor.
 
No evidence of criminal activity has yet been made public or suggested. No cause of death is known.
 
Houston is best known for singing the  "The Star Spangled Banner" at the Super Bowl, amid the first Gulf War in 1991, as well as a disheveled marriage to Bobby Brown.

Her cover of "I Will Always Love You" was Grammy's record of the year in 1992 and best female pop vocal.
