Whitney Houston FBI: Singer’s file includes blackmail

Whitney Houston’s FBI file was released, and it’s revealing a blackmail attempt by a crazed fan, E! Online reported on Mar. 4.

According to the report, Whitney’s file was about 128 pages long, and revealed that Houston paid off an individual who attempted to blackmail her.

Whitney Houston’s FBI file shows that in Dec. of 1992, a crazed fan attempted to extort the “I Will Always Love You” singer by threatening to expose intimate details about her past relationships.

The FBI also revealed several pieces of fan mail."Miss Whitney, why can't you respond to my 70 plus letters," the fan wrote. "Miss Whitney, I really am in love with you. Please, believe me. You probably think that I am crazy. Well, maybe I am. I just can't give up."
