White wine review: 2008 Salneval Albarino

2008 Salneval Albarino

2008 was a good year for Salneval's Albarino. Similar to some Rieslings, this wine has a crisp nose of apples and bright flowers. Smelling each glass is like taking a deep breath while walking through an apple orchard.

Once sipped, the wine refreshes the palette with slight sweetness and a refreshing acidity. Pair it with fish, like talapia, and other light dishes.

If you're looking for an escape from wintery thoughts, look for Salneval Albarino from 2008. Its available from Sam's Wine and Spirits
