Residents who live in and around a small town called Leith, North Dakota are a bit worried lately. According to a report by KSLA.com which was published on August 30, a known white supremacist has been buying almost all of the property in the small town of Leith, North Dakota to bring in like-minded people who have the same beliefs as him. When referring to a small town, it really is a small town with a population of only 19 people. The man, Craig Kobb, who is actually wanted in Canada, is trying to create a ‘white people’ only town in this tiny place called Leith.
The residents of Leith and residents in the surrounding area have just learned about this, although it has been going on for almost two years now, and are not only shocked but worried as well. One woman says it scares her because her husband is a black man. Another lady said she is worried too because her husband is part Native American.
Cobb has already bought about a dozen lots and has sold two of them to two other people who believe the same as him, that it should be a ‘white’ only town. Cobb even had a goal to take over everything and even change the name of the tiny town to names like Adolph Hitler Park, Rudolph Hess Bar, or Rudolph Hess Park.
Although the sheriff and his deputies have been patrolling the streets of the town a lot more since they have heard about Cobb and his group three months ago, he says since he hasn't broken any laws yet, there isn't anything that can be done right now.
