HGTV is about to explode all over 2012 with celeb-filled specials, brand new shows and returning series -- including a new season of “HGTV Design Star,” the new design series “White Room Challenge” and “Selling London,” a spin-off of the hit HGTV real estate series “Selling NY.”

COMPETITION SERIES
“Price this Place” (Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT)
Are you an HGTV junky? Do you always guess right on House Hunters? Now's your chance to win some cash! For Price this Place, we are traveling the country looking for folks just like you to answer some simple questions. The more you guess right, the more money in your pocket.
“HGTV Design Star” (Premieres Tuesday, May 29, at 9 p.m. ET/PT)
HGTV Design Star, with host and mentor David Bromstad, is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity for an aspiring designer to catapult into the big time by winning their own primetime show on HGTV. During season seven of the series, 12 new designer finalists will be put through creative and clever challenges that are unexpected, suspenseful and highly dramatic. In the end of the final winner will be chosen by the design panel headed by Vern Yip, Genevieve Gorder and surprise celebrity guests.
“White Room Challenge” (Premieres Tuesday, April 24, at 9 p.m. ET/PT)
Inspired by everyone's favorite episode of “HGTV Design Star,” it's now a series all its own. Each week David Bromstad hosts four up-and-coming designers who compete to create the most original, eccentric and outrageous rooms using a variety of unusual materials. HGTV's Jamie Durie heads the expert judging panel which will award the grand prize of $10,000 cash.
DESIGN MAKEOVER
“Interiors Inc.” (Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT)
In Interiors Inc, eight talented, energetic designers led by Jonathan Pierce make their "home away from home" at the Nashville-based design firm Pierce and Company. In each episode, HGTV will follow this ensemble cast of experts as personalities clash and collaborate to create stunning room makeovers for VIP clients such as LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian and “American Idol” finalist, Danny Gokey.
“Beautiful Homes” (Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. ET/PT)
Beautiful Homes takes viewers inside the gated communities, prestigious neighborhoods and most magnificent residences from around the world. From traditional classic abodes to fantastic contemporary retreats, it's the ultimate in home design and offers a rare peek into an exclusive lifestyle. Meet the top decorators, architects and designers who use their expertise and professional design secrets on thousands of square feet with an unlimited budget.
“Elbow Room” (Premieres May 2012)
Contractor Chip Wade comes to the rescue of families who love their home and love their neighborhoods, but whose houses no longer suits them. In each episode of "Elbow Room," Chip updates and customizes homes with smart and eye-popping renovations. In the end, the homes will once again perfectly fit these families' needs.
“Making House” (Premieres October 2012)
Husband and wife designer and contractor, Jenn and Chad have spent 10 years of marriage making beautiful homes for other people. In the new series “Making House,” they create a dream home for themselves, their three young children and the baby on the way. With ambitious plans, a tight budget, a business to run and three children fighting for their attention, Jenn and Chad have their work cut out for them.
“Auction Queen” (Premieres July 2012)
Christie Hatman, Missouri State Auction Champ, brings her talents and love of antiques on the road in “Auction Queen” (working title). In each episode, Christie and her team, including son Eli, travel to different towns where they set up an auction. Along the way she visits people in their homes to hunt for hidden treasures, quirky objects, cool antiques and even some high quality junk that she can turn around and sell. It's always a treasure hunt and Christie never knows what she's going to find, but that's a big part of the adventure.
RENOVATION
“Homewreckers” (Sundays at 8 a.m. ET/PT)
In Homewreckers, contractor Kristi Hansen comes to the rescue of homeowners whose neglected homes are on the verge of disaster. Hansen relies on her 19 years of experience and a no-nonsense approach to save these homes before it's too late.
“Going Yard” (Premieres April 2012)
In “Going Yard,” landscape professional Chris Lambton will transform neglected backyards into spectacular outdoor spaces suitable for entertaining family and friends. In each episode, he and his team will trick out a homeowner's yard with such features as patios, arbors, water features and fire pits. In addition, Lambton's fiancé Peyton Wright will join the family business pitching-in with design projects on the show and helping homeowners plan their first party in their new yard.
REAL ESTATE
“Selling London” (Premieres July 2012)
London is one of the world's most sophisticated cities - but the competitive real estate market isn't always regal. From luxury mansions to modest flats, the city's buyers and sellers expect royal treatment in “Selling London.” Just in time for summer games, follow the city's most elite agents as they try to sell some of the most gorgeous homes in the world.

My House Goes Disney (Premieres Friday, Feb. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT)
From Tinkerbell to Cars to Nemo, the Hinson family loves everything about Disney. HGTV's designers, with inspiration from Disney, took on the challenge of transforming this house inside and out for this very special episode of My House Goes Disney.
I Break For Yard Sales (Premieres Friday, April 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT)
HGTV will join Lara Spencer on her journey in “I Brake For Yard Sales” as she scours the country for one-of-a-kind pieces to renovate and restore for her best friend's Beverly Hills home. Lara's creative journey will provide viewers with all the tips all the tips they need to execute the best renovations and original home design makeovers for less.
