The Ralph Foster Museum at the College of the Ozarks will host the White River Painting Exhibit and being on November 14 and running through December 20. The museum hosts this annual exhibit in the Edwards Art Gallery to celebrate this unique Ozarks heritage and express the museum's continuing mission of providing rich learning experiences about Ozarks culture through the arts.
The opening reception to celebrate this special exhibit will take place from 2-4 p.m. on November 14 at the Ralph Foster Museum on the campus of the College of the Ozarks.
This year's juror will be Dr. Peggy Kjelgaard, executive director at the Eureka Springs School of the Arts. Monetary awards will be awarded for the top three, as well as for honorable mentions, and many of the paintings will be for sale.
The Ralph Foster Museum is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors 65 and older, and free for high school age and under.
