The White House announced today, that it will hold a Cabinet level meeting regarding aid to Egypt next Tuesday, the Associated Press reported. Cabinet members will include Secretary of State John Kerry. At stake is $1.5 billion in aid that could be slashed or stopped altogether. The announcement comes from the White House after originally stated no decision had been made regarding aid in the wake over the removal of President Morsi, a leader well regarded by the Muslim Brotherhood. The ouster has led to intense protests and violence.
