White chocolate macadamia cookies

2 cups flour
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
¾ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 ½ cups macadamia nuts, chopped
2 cups white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350º. In a bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a mixer, combine butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Slowly add in the dry mixture, making sure not to over-mix. Fold in the nuts and white chocolate chips, but save some to press into the dough. Add spoonfuls of the dough onto a lined baking sheet and press the remaining nuts and chocolate chips into the dough. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
