White chocolate chip and orange cookies
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup (6 ounces) white chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons grated orange zest
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture.
- Stir in white chocolate chips and orange zest.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. bake in 350* oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
