Which U.S. presidents have had wiener dogs at the White House? (Photos)

As the president is sworn into office, it's a good time to reflect on what U.S. presidents have been partial to the noble Dachshund dog.

A number have enjoyed Dachshunds. As children, John F. Kennedy, and his wife Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy both had Dachshunds. Kennedy was the 35th president.

The 34th president, Dwight D. Eisenhower like Dachshunds, and Teddy Roosevelt, the 26th president, saw the importance of having them as hunting dogs with him. There are photos of him and Skip, one of his favorites.

Grover Cleveland served as the 22nd and the 24th president. He loved Dachshunds.
