Which IFBB Figure Pro is not competing in the 2014 Arnold Sports Festival?

The Arnold Sports Festival is held in Columbus, Ohio, and offers sports enthusiasts a chance to see over 18,000 athletes in peak condition. This year the 2014 Arnold Sports Festival is held on February 27th through March 2nd. The monstrous event is also the home of the Arnold Classic.

It's here that many of the sponsored athletes work vendor booths, and "meet and greet" their biggest fans. These sports fans come from across the nation, and from other countries for the chance to see their favorite athletes. Even sports enthusiasts not as interested in bodybuilding often leave "in love" with one of the bodybuilding competitors.

Which IFBB Pro Figure athlete is not competing in the 2014 Ms. Figure International?

Many bodybuilding enthusiasts have favorites, but fan favorite IFBB Pro Figure athlete Nicole Wilkins, and 3X Ms. Figure International champion, is not competing in the 2014 Arnold Sports Festival. Wilkins is not participating in one of the biggest bodybuilding sporting events due to a previous shoulder injury. However, she will be in attendance.

Nicole Wilkins 1/22/2014

I am very disappointed to announce that I will not be able to compete at this year's Arnold Sports Festival due to a shoulder injury that will prevent me from training for the next 4-6 weeks. I originally suffered the injury in October and had to stop training most upper body movements for a little over a month. I was able to resume training about a week before the Figure International applications were due, and at that time I decided I was going to do everything in my power to get on stage in Columbus. Unfortunately, I never gave the injury enough time to heal, and it is at the point where I can no longer train like I need to in order to continue my prep. I expect to be fully recovered in order to resume training and defend my Figure Olympia title in September. I would like to thank everyone for their support and understanding during this difficult time, including Jim and Bob Lormier, my manager JM Manion, Fitness Management Group, the IFBB Pro League and my sponsors MET-Rx, 6 Pack Fitness and FitnessRx for Women Magazine. Most of all, thank you to my friends, family, and all of the fans for your continued support of me and all of the great athletes who will be competing at this year's Arnold Sports Festival. I will still be in Columbus working the Met-Rx booth, so please stop by and say hello if you are attending this year.

Who's competing in the 2014 Ms. Figure International?

Wilkins did not compete in the 2013 Ms. Figure International because she wanted to bring up her look for the 2014 Olympia. Although Wilkins is not competing at the 2014 event the 2013 Ms. Figure International winner Candice Keene is back to defend her title.
