Which airport hotel was named "One Of The Best Hotels In Illinois"

U.S. News & World Report Travel has named the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont as one of the “Best Hotels in Illinois” as well as one of the “Best IHG Group Hotels” in their annual Best Hotel rankings. Ranking at number 20 and number six on the lists respectively, the U.S. News editors used an unbiased methodology to analyze nearly 2,000 luxury hotels throughout the United States to compile these 2013 designations. That's not all: USAToday travel writer Gary Leff, said “Greatest Airport Hotel Ever, the InterContinental O’Hare.”

Why? Could it be the of blending artistic character with luxury accommodations and amenities? The hotel boasts an expansive art gallery, energetic live music and comedy venue and new adjacent restaurant, Fresco 21, A Mediterranean Kitchen. It's not you father's ‘airport hotel.’

As you might imagine, the Waldorf Astoria, Peninsula, Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton topped the list but an airport hotel breaking into the top 20 is a real feat. The publication also liked "a complimentary, 24-hour shuttle service to both the ORD Airport and the nearby El train's Rosemont Station."

The design-forward, 560-room hotel attracts leisure travelers, business professionals and local residents alike.
