Workouts can be done anywhere, but it is sometimes nice to go to a track. Most tracks are 4 laps to a mile, and ensure that your workout distances are accurate. Here in DC we have a few options. Pick a track close to your house so you can run there for your warm up!

Northwest
- Georgetown Community Track (at 38th and R) – This is a small track – 5 laps to the mile.
- Reeves Athletic Complex and Greenberg Track (at American University) 4400 Massachusetts Avenue
- Woodrow Wilson High School Track (at Tenleytown-AU Metro) 3950 Chesapeake Street Northwest
- Greene Memorial Stadium (at Howard University, entrance off Georgia Ave. through Howard University Campus)
- Dunbar High School (near Mt. Vernon Metro) 1301 New Jersey Avenue Northwest
- Roosevelt High School (closest to Georgia Ave/Pettworth Metro) 4301 13th Street Northwest
- Coolidge Recreation Center (closest to Tacoma Metro) 6315 5th Street Northwest
- St John’s College High School 2607 Military Road Northwest
- Sidwell Friends School (closest to Tenleytown Metro) 3825 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest
- Cardozo High School Track (at 13th and Florida) 4 lanes, watch out for errant soccer balls and cheerleading practice!
Northeast
- Eliot Recreation Center (closest to Armory Metro) 1830 Constitution Avenue Northeast
- Gallaudet University 800 Florida Ave NE
- Hyde Public Charter School 101 T Street Northeast
Virginia
- Washington Lee High School Track (At Ballston/GMU Metro)
- Wakefield High School 4901 S Chesterfield Rd, Arlington, VA
