If you are looking to wine and dine your sweetheart this Valentine's day, Knoxville restaurants offer some special menus for this day of love. Here are a few samplings:

Seasons Cafe (12740 Kingston Pike) is offering a four-course Valentine's dinner.

The menu will include a selection of prawns with boursin cream or port wine duck for the first course, a second course of mixed green salad with Gorgonzola-glazed poached pear, and a third course selection of Folie a Deux chicken, parmesan encrusted sea bass or tenderloin Oscar, with Callebaut chocolate bombe for dessert.

Cost is $55. Reservations are required and start at 5 p.m. Call 865-671-3679.

Chez Liberty (5200 Kingston Pike) has prepared a special Valentine's menu.

For starter, the choice includes purple spinach, candied almonds, heirloom carrots, and braised artichokes, with a strawberry vinaigrette, or Kumomoto oyster, fig brulee, and arugula and fennel salad.

The entree choice includes lobster medallion, saffron risotto, and mustard greens, with a vanilla ginger reduction, or seared filet mignon, curried cilantro potato puree, and fried plantains, with a truffle reduction.

Dessert choices include chocolate lava cake with a raspberry reduction and honeyed goat cheese whipped cream or pineapple panna cotta with candied ginger and fizzy cherries.

Cost is $91 per couple, and wine pairings can be added with each course for an additional cost. Call 865-330-9862.

The Orangery (5412 Kingston Pike) has put together a special Valentine's menu.

Starters include a choice of low country blue crab cake with roasted tomato, grilled vegetable compote, and a caper vinaigrette, or seared diver scallops, tri lentil salad, and micro arugula salad, with a smoked leek vinaigrette, or seared foie gras & duck confit, and sweet apple arugula, and Granny Smith apple chutney, with Bliss bourbon maple syrup.

Salad options include Orangery House Salad with mixed lettuces, vegetables, candied walnuts, bleu cheese crubles, and sherried vinaigrette, or Orangery Caesar Salad with hearts of romaine, asiago cheese, Spanish white anchovies, and ciabatta croutons.

Entrees offered include braised lamb shank, barley risotto, and baby yellow squash, with an apricot demi glaze, or Chilean sea bass, saffron risotto, and white & green asparagus, with tarragon beurre blanc, or Springer Mountain breast of chicken, smoked leek & Yukon whipped potatoes, and haricot vert, with a whole grain mustard vinaigrette, or pan-seared filet of beef, fingerling potatoes, arugula, and cippolini onions, with a housemade steak sauce.

Finally, for dessert, choose between chocolate orange crème brulee, or lemon panacotta served a la nage in blueberry bisque, or mixed berry napoleon wafer cookies and chantilly cream.

Echo Bistro and Wine Bar (5803 Kingston Pike) is offering a Valentine's dinner of soup du jour, caesar salad, 8 oz. roasted lobster tail, 6 oz. filet mignon, chef's vegetables & starch, and Echo creme brulee for $69.95. Their full menu will also be available. Call 865-602-2090 for reservations.

Oodles Uncorked Restaurant and Wine Bar (18 E Market Square) is offering Valentine's dinner options with three different price points.

The $39 dinner for two includes slow roasted Cornish game hen with sundried tomato, and asparagus pasta with blackened alfredo sauce, as well as a Caesar salad and a bottle of wine.

The $59 dinner for two includes fettuccine with caramelized onions, cherry tomatoes and pancetta in Boursin cream sauce topped with confit of duck, as well as a choice of salad and a bottle of wine.

Finally, the $79 dinner for two includes a 5-ounce fillet with Bernaise sauce, truffled red potato hash and prosciutto-wrapped asparagus, as well as a choice of salad, dessert and a bottle of wine.

Melting Pot (111 N Central St) is offering a special five-course dinner for Valentine's.

Starter options include Shrimp Cocktail Cheese Fondue, or Basil Pesto Raclette, which is Raclette and Swiss cheeses in a white wine base with a touch of pesto and cracked pepper, or Garlic & Herb Cheddar, which is Aged Wisconsin Cheddar in a vegetable bouillon base with black pepper, garlic and our signature Green Goddess sauce, or French Onion Swiss, which is Emmenthaler and Gruyere Swiss cheeses, beef broth, and a delicious onion and peppercorn reduction.

Salad options are Strawberry Almond: Baby spinach and spring mix topped with sliced almonds, strawberries, and Gorgonzola cheese with a basil-infused vinaigrette, or Caesar: A classic salad of Romaine lettuce, creamy Caesar dressing, croutons and parmesan-crusted pine nuts.

Entree options include Two Cold Water Lobster Tails, Roasted Garlic Crusted Shrimp, Citrus Marinated Pork, Filet Mignon, Garlic Chili Chicken Breast, Peppercorn Crusted NY Strip, or Portabella & Porcini Sachetti.

Dessert choices are Chocolate Crème Pie: Milk chocolate blended with a vanilla cream cheese flavors and served with graham crackers, or Strawberry Shortcake White: White chocolate with a pure strawberry puree Dark Chocolate Mint: Dark chocolate swirled with Crème de Mint liquor.

At the time of this writing, Valentine's day was sold out but reservations for the 13th were available. Reservations are required and must be secured with a credit card. Dinner is $90 per couple.

La Costa on Market Square (31 Market Square) is offering a three-course Valentine's dinner.

Starter choices are jumbo shrimp cocktail with chile sauce and avocado corn salsa, or brie en croute with sherry orange marmalade chipotle, candied pecans, and crackers, or duck spring rolls with citrus dipping sauce.

Main course options include heart of ribeye with Bloody Mary demi-glace, sherry mushrooms, and pan-roasted broccolini, or chile-dusted diver scallops with sweet potato jicama slaw, sauteed haricot verts, and red pepper coulis, or butternut & eggplant pasta over linguini with bell peppers, onion, garlic, spinach, and truffled tomato cream sauce.

Dessert options are ginger panna cotta with raspberry gelee & white chocolate creme anglaise, or pumpkin walnut blondie with vanilla ice cream and cinnamon maple glaze, or sorbet martini with fresh mint and tuille cookies.
