With only nine days to go before the 85th Annual Academy Awards, hosted by Seth MacFarlane on ABC, so there isn’t much time to check out the nominated films before the big night. Here’s where you can find the nominees playing in the Denver area.
First off the Mayan Theatre (Broadway, 80203) has a showing of the Best Animated and Live-Action Short Films, as well as the documentary Searching for Sugar Man already out on DVD. Sie Film Center (Colfax Ave, 80204) currently has a showing of each of the Best Documentary Short nominees, as well as the Best Live Action Shorts on Tuesday Feb 19th.
And now for the films still in theaters. Since Zero Dark Thirty, Life of Pi, Silver Linings Playbook, Lincoln, Argo and Django Unchained are still playing at a wide selection of theaters, here are the other rarer features.
