Since we're in the midst of a series of articles on meat, there are three farms who can't be forgotten in that conversation. They are mainstays of local meat production, and every cut will offer quality and flavor.

Webb Valley Farm raises and sells pastured whole chickens, pastured pork, grass-fed beef, and eggs. They sell at farmers' markets in Lebanon, Bellbrook, Deerfield, and Loveland; or off the farm every Saturday afternoon from 2 PM to 4 PM. Their beef is featured at the Wildflower Cafe in Mason. Farm sales may also be made by appointment.

Morning Sun Farm participates in markets in West Chester, Centerville, and Madeira. They sell pastured chicken, lamb, pork, and turkey, as well as grass-fed beef. Their egg production practices gained the highest possible rating from the Cornucopia Institute. In addition to the farmers' markets, the eggs can be found at Dorothy Lane Market. They sell off the farm every day except Sunday.

Lastly, you'll find TS Farms at markets in Madeira and Montgomery. Frequently, certain cuts of meat will come and go as the products of one animal may sell out before the next is processed. TS Farms tries to keep a good variety in stock at all times. They have beef, chicken, duck, lamb, pork, and rabbit, all pastured or grass fed.
