Check your local newspaper listings for rummage sales at churches. These sales are great for buying high quality items at very low prices to sell for profit on eBay. Many church members will donate their unwanted merchandise as garage sale inventory. The church will not take the time to individually price each and every item, but will price the enter group … any sweater for $1. This is great news! A very high quality sweater (Talbots, for example) will be the same price as a generic brand. Church sales are also notorious for selling highly valued vintage items from grandma’s attic. Keep your eyes open for vintage books, figurines, pots / pans, dishes. These items are great sellers on eBay and often times cost no more than $1 at a garage sale.
