I live and work in Silicon Valley - I am a professional blogger.
Almost daily I hear people say, "Hi, my name is (insert name) and my Google Page Rank is..." 2, 3, 5 or some other such number.
Want to know your Google Page Rank? First you need a web site or blog... then you can check to know your Google Page Rank here.
Truth be told, a site's Google Page Rank is really of no consequence.
What really matters is the kind of traffic a web site gets. And for some, whether a site gets any traffic at all.
I know something about that, too. They call me TheTrafficProfessor. I have 10 different and unrelated topics that have more than 1,000,000 unique visitors EACH.
A site wants relevant traffic.
Site owners want people to search out and find something they have that satisfies their query. This is called organic traffic. Relevant and meaningful traffic on a regular basis is what will cause a site's Google Page Rank to increase. 10 is the highest number and, of course, Google gives itself a 10!
There are more important things than knowing one's own Google Page Rank, I think.
I wrote about that at the Christian Worldview site. What's your Page Rank?
Not the Google one...the other one?
