Where to celebrate National Grilled Cheese month in New York City style

Delicatessen's Mac Reuben Grilled Cheese

Guys, now that it's finally April 1st, we've officially entered into National Grilled Cheese month (and no, this isn't a cruel April Fool's trick). It's a real holiday, worthy of capitalization of its name and we intend to celebrate it in all its glory.

But in a city with so many awesome, indulgent hotspots like New York, how's a grilled chee-zoid to choose? Well, while we can't make the decision for you, we're here to guide you through the masses towards the most interesting, most delicious and most must-try grilled cheese beauties to put on your April to-eat list, ranging from the classic options like the time-tested cheddar-stuffed grilled cheese and tomato soup combination to an ooey gooey British-inspired breakfast variation.

Some of our favorite options can be found where you'd least expect them, and all are just as decadent as they sound - but wherever (and however) you choose to celebrate such an epic month, happy noshing and cheese-filled wishes to you this April!
