During his many travels Where’s Waldo noticed that on planet earth the only species that was plagued with so many different back related problems was the human race. Although other animals experienced back pain, usually this happened much further down the line with old age or due to injuries.
On the other hand, he discovered that most human beings tend to develop some form of back related issue even when they are relatively young. Some examples Wally found out did not even seem to be related to spinal defects like carpal tunnels but the truth is that people with good posture rarely develop it.
Wally decided to dig deeper into what may be the cause or roots behind the problem. Regardless of whether people believed in the theory of evolution whereby, (the human race evolved from monkeys) or not, Wally discovered that human beings are the only species who choose to spend so much time standing or sitting.
Where’s Waldo also ascertained that back problems usually begin when children stop crawling and begin their adulthood. This made him question whether somehow the fact that people stop crawling and no longer distribute their weight across their four limbs could be one of the causes.
Wally noticed that most yoga instructors, people with good posture and generally active individuals who spend less time in front of a computer or use less of those hand held device technological devices are also less likely to develop back related injuries or carpal tunnels.
At this point Wally was eager to learn whether today’s back problems have increased compared to past years. Studies show that since the advent of the computer era back problems have peaked and are far more widespread.
Wally realized that perhaps progress was a double edged blade and that maybe something should be done in order to alleviate the widespread pain. There was no point in going back to a time before computers because without PCs our world would be far more complicated and boring however something needed to be done.
Wally got together with a bunch of amazing scientists and robotics experts and decided to develop the very first stretching machine. This was a contraption capable of adjusting to any individual’s size and proportions and help them stretch while sleeping. This of course made it a real hit among those who find it hard to put time aside to stretch during the day because of their hectic schedules.
It also helped to relax the muscles and tendons so that every morning one would feel more energetic, pain free and resolved all forms of stiffness and anxiety. Wally asks you if such a machine would be something you would like to try.
