Where’s Waldo had a guest over for six months and this was his way of warning you of what it means to have a guest from hell stay over at your place.

The best guests are the ones who are considerate, kind, non judgmental and stay over for a week or so at the most. They are guests who respect the host’s customs, way of life and house rules. They are fully independent and spend most of their time out on the town enjoying shopping or sightseeing. These kind of guests take direction well and never overstep their bounds. That is why they are the guests from heaven who are always welcome in every home.

The guests from hell on the other hand are the ones who basically shack up at your place and are practically impossible to get rid of. They wake up at 6:30 and start banging on stuff in your kitchen by 7 o’clock, waking you up and ruining your beauty sleep.

They are picky about everything, food, accommodation and constantly need you to help them with everything, including opening jars, canned food, to cook, as well as break almost all of your appliances. They never leave your home, following you everywhere you go and love to sleep on your couch in the living room as opposed to their own guest quarters.

They are the kind of guests who bring their personal problems to your home and upset your spouse/husband on a daily basis, making her/him angrier then usual and upsetting the balance between husband and wife.

These are the guests who are constantly dependent on you to do the grocery shopping, go to any destination and who always make more work for you instead of lifting part of your burden. They are the ones who often try to help but instead make a huge mess of things at times when you need to perform urgent and vital tasks, like taking care of your child or shopping on the fly or take care of chores.

They are guests who are loud, annoying and that think their way of life is better then yours. They comment on how you live and try to change the way you do things by reprehending you or by giving orders or advice you don’t care to hear or have time for.

If they can't get their way or you to listen to what they have to say they get your spouse/husband to nag at you about what they are not happy about until you get it done.

These guests bring unnecessary extra drama to your home, waste your time and make you so angry, tired and distressed that you constantly wish they would just leave or at the very least not interfere with your daily activities. Often times you get so overwhelmed by your usual routine plus the extra burden of dealing with them that you get sick.

These are the guests from hell and Where’s Waldo is giving you fair warning.

Would you ever invite such a guest to spend time at your place?

Please email us about your own guests from hell stories. Where’s Waldo would love to hear them. Until the next time!
