Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not at their part-time home in New Orleans this weekend. The city is crawling with celebrities due to the Super Bowl and according to Yahoo Sports on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, Brangelina is nowhere to be found.
The couple and their large brood have a home in New Orleans, so many expected Brad and Angelina to be there this weekend for the Super Bowl. The windows in the house that is owned by the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” actors are boarded up tighter than drums.
Video: When Brad and Angie and their brood are in New Orleans, it is not hard to spot them. They often walk all together to the store or playground. The video above shows the Brangelina family taking a walk to the store on a previous stay in New Orleans.
While there’s no sign of Brangelina on the grounds of Brad and Angie’s New Orleans’ home, there’s plenty of life going on around the property. Fans of the couple are stopping by to gaze and take pictures of their home. Yahoo even captured a bit of graffiti on camera.
Written on a stucco wall on Brad and Angelina’s property is a message declaring someone’s love for Angelina. It is not unusual for tourists to fly in for the Super Bowl a few days earlier to get more bang for their buck and take in the sights.
Part of the sights around historic New Orleans during the days surrounding the big game is often celebrity spotting, as many are in town for Super Bowl Sunday. Since Brad and Angie have a home there, it would stand to reason they'd jet in for the festivities going on all around New Orleans today.
Unless the Brangelina clan is hiding in their locked down home, it looks like they won’t be part of the Super Bowl sight seeing tours for fans visiting the area of the big event this year. They still have hours before the Super Bowl starts, so the popular couple and their children could slip in under the wire and be in their New Orleans home in time for the big game or even in the stadium to watch Super Bowl 2013.
