Where is the Water?

With California suffering a severe drought ,finding adequate water resources, is a critical question. Farmers try to irrigate their farmland and local residents are wondering where there is available water for the public. The more that there is a lack of rain or snow cover, the more intense the search for available water resources. This impacts many and not just California but throughout the nation. Food is a necessary part of everyone's life. The inevitable result is increased prices at the local market. The will end but when is the question. Also, this presents the questions of whether previous strategies for solving this problem are adequate in future planning and what should be done practically to balance the needs of farmers and the public?
