Where is Santa right now? See where he is with the NORAD Santa Tracker 2009 and Google Earth. NORAD is tracking Santa this year on its website, so you can see where in the world he is. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) will track Santa as he makes his annual journey throughout the world.
Santa and his reindeer will be tracked with radar as soon as they leave the North Pole. “Amazingly, Rudolph’s bright red nose gives off an infrared signature, which allow our satellites to detect Rudolph and Santa,” the NORAD site states.
“Canadian NORAD fighter pilots flying the CF-18 intercept welcome Santa to North America. In the United States, American NORAD fighter pilots in either the F-15 or the F-16 get the thrill of flying alongside Santa and his famous reindeer,” the website states.
The internet buzz on this story is hot because it is Christmas Eve, and people all over the world want to know where Santa is. Click on the link below to see where Santa is.
