Let me start by saying, I have not been called to tinkle the ears of listeners. I have been called to speak the TRUTH, and hold back nothing. I watch people struggling everyday with drugs, alcohol, abuse, unforgiveness, sickness, fear and internal pain. These individuals are not in need of church people looking them over; and looking over them. They, like every other hurting person in this world, need a WORD of TRUTH that will change their lives; direction, and destination. A ‘money message’ won’t cut it; a ‘feel good message’ won’t help it; a ‘watered down message’ won’t heal it. Where are GOD’S people?
This world is dying and headed for destruction. People are killing others like it is just a normal part of everyday life. Children are raising themselves on the street: Parents are in the clubs, casinos and drug houses. People are hurting to the core, from past abuse; present abuse…and they are now abusing others. GOD says ‘NO!’ Stop! Where are GOD’S people?
Some of GOD’S people are in the clubs and casinos; the bars and the drug houses. Some of GOD’S people are shacking up; sleeping around and abusing others. So many of ‘GOD’S PEOPLE’ are blending in with the devil’s people, it’s hard to tell of us apart. This is madness; it’s Sodom and Gomorrah all over again. Destruction isn’t coming, it’s already here. Where are GOD’S people?
The people of GOD should be weeping over this nation and over this world. If we have the spirit of GOD, it should be impossible to watch the evils of this world and blend in; overlook or bypass it, without speaking up and speaking out. GOD has set a standard, and we are to represent that standard. Where are GOD’S people?
People of GOD, this is not a special call to holiness; GOD has always called HIS people to be holy. “Be ye holy, for I AM holy.” GOD has always called HIS people to be set apart. GOD has always called HIS people to be a standard. GOD’S people are to be holy, not blending in; bypassing and overlooking the hurt, pain and evils of this world! We need sound doctrine; the Holy Truth…Yes, life changing, mind-altering, heart-wrenching Truth must go forth in the pulpits and on the streets.
Where are GOD’S people? God is calling you to armor up; position yourself; separate from darkness.
“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.” Romans 13:11-13
