HRH Prince Harry was asked very directly about his marriage plans this week by the most unlikely of people. HRH was visiting London’s Royal Hospital Chelsea’s infirmary to make a speech and visit the residents. As he made his way down a greeting line of veterans one, 85-year-old William Titchmarsh, asked quite clearly “When are you getting married?” After clarifying the question the Prince answered “Not for a long time! Who put you up to asking me that?” Retired soldier Titchmarsh then joked “They’ll shoot me in the morning!” The dashing young prince has recently been the subject of much tabloid speculation since his older brother William married longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton. Harry has been on and off with girlfriend Chelsy Davy for years, but reports are out that she has no desire to be in the media spotlight full-time like being in the royal family would require. So maybe not coincidentally, Prince Harry has been recently seen out with Kate’s sister Pippa– who is growing used to the constant spotlight. Whether they are a couple or if the Prince is still with Chelsy, is unknown. One thing that is sure – Prince Harry made clear no wedding is in the cards anytime soon. So the only wedding on the books is that of his cousin Zara Phillips and one can expect an engagement of HRH Princess Beatrice to be coming anytime now.
