The first has such a lovely, magical, almost transcendental name of Be Love Restaurant. There you can feast on local, organic nourishing food that feeds the soul. The chefs pride themselves on e an unparalleled ethos for providing top-of-line, quality food to its customers. Menus are a creative union of raw and cooked food. The even employ s a forager who picks wild mushrooms in the morning for the dishes that evening. And, for tipplers, the barkeep is an herbalist who concocts the most inspiring and unique drinks (e.g., Neptune Moons - potato vodka, salt, water, tamari, cayenne, tomato, celery, carrot juice and winged kelp).

Also with a tasty name, Nourish Cafe is a hidden gem nestled on a 9-acre Eden-like garden with everything from fermented foods to herbal-infused water (herbs are harvested from the gardens). Each dish has a healthy component to it - the eggs benny are farm-fresh eggs with sautéed kale and mushrooms atop a sweet potato with a cashew hollandaise sauce. Their patio was rated best in Victoria, BC.
