Expensive, but really cool!!!!!!
They should sell one with Beatles action figures that sing "I Should Have Known Better". :)
Is it 1965 or what???
My, my, my...how creative can you not be? Slap a picture of an album cover on an item and make a buck! This is the most uncreative representation of a Beatles' item since the lackluster cover of the Yellow Submarine Songtrack.
But as it has been proven in the past, slap the name "Beatles" on anything and it's going to sell "x" amount.
Nice but not so imaginative that it's worth shelling out that kind of money for. There are other Beatles items around that price that are worthwhile but not these.
I bought a set because I collect Lionel. I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan & have been a fan ever since. A nice addition to my train-set collections. The album cover art actually made for a nice boxcar graphic. Remember (I'm old enough to) rail was the premier means of product shipping throughout the country and these designs are consistent with the concept. The price is in line with other rolling stock issues. These will sell down the road with an appreciated dollar value. Someone will pass on them today, and want them later. That is part of the collecting process. I have been collecting Beatles' memorobilia for decades, since I was a kid. I see a lot of negative comment about these traincars posted here. To each his own and I hope you all have something you enjoy.
