We are constantly dying. And Restructuring, Rebuilding, being Reborn.
As I sit in reflection the last week that my one Grandmother is dying, and the other has fallen ill, I think about the Death of Me. What does it mean when we Die? What do we Leave behind? What do we have to look Forward to? What if Truly all we had to Live for was the Moment?
Every time someone insults us, things don't turn out the way we expected, or we blame ourselves for not being good enough, a part of us dies. We are deconstructing our soul, and giving our Power away. When we silence our nagging desires for joy and connection with food or drinking, lashing out at the world, brewing in our self doubt, hurting the people around us, stifling our truth, or other perpetually destructive and self degrading behaviors, we create a paradigm of pain.
At the same time a part of us also dies, a part that we want to die, when we shed another layer of what is often classified as "ego", I like to call it the "excess" or the "old paradigm", that which no longer serves us. And this may seem like a fluffy or woo-woo path to take, the one of self investigation and scrutiny, however I assure you the path of conscious living and constant transformation can be ever rewarding and joyful but it is not for the faint of heart. Yet it's only as hard as you choose. The "Brave Warriors of Self" practice Truth and Surrender like it is their Religion, there is no standing still, there is only stillness within. Every moment is an opportunity to Transform and reach Higher for the Light and Further inside for "Me". Searching for the True Me.
