When is the 2013 BCS National Championship? Start time, where you can watch

The 2013 Discover BCS National Championship Game is a postseason college football bowl game scheduled for Monday, Jan. 7 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The game will kick-off at 7:31 p.m. CST.

This year's BCS National Championship will feature #1 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the #2 Alabama Crimson Tide.

Where to watch the BCS National Championship

On television, the BCS championship will be hosted on ESPN and ESPN3D.

If you will be driving during that time, radio stations the Alabama ESPN radio station will be broadcasting the game, and you can click here to see their affiliates in other areas.

You can also watch the game online on ESPN Sports Center, however, you'll have to have an ESPN.com account in order watch. Accounts are free and you can delete them at any time.

Alabama

During the regular season, Alabama was the leader in total defense, giving up 246.00 yards per game and in rushing defense by allowing 79.77 yards per game.The team was the conference leader in scoring defense (10.7 points per game) and rushing defense (79.9 yards per game), second in scoring offense (38.5 points per game) and rushing offense (224.62 yards per game).

Notre Dame

During the regular season, Notre Dame was the national leader in scoring defense (10.3 points per game) and sixth in total defense (286.83 yards per game).
