When God's your Source, miracles abound

You know how I'm always writing that if you make God your Source, you don't have to freak about gain and loss? This topic changes people's lives dramatically when they truly understand it deep inside.

Here's a quote from "Outrageous Openness" that sums up Divine Source well:

Actually, it may sound crazy but if you think of the Divine as your ultimate protection, the Source for your work, finances, and all needs, then even the economy itself becomes irrelevant. You lift your vibration above the turbulence of the apparent economic reality into the hands of That From Which All Things Come.

No person, place or thing is seen as your foundation. Only God.

Then the Universe can use anything it wishes to meet your needs. (p.24)

So here's what happened to me recently with this. I'd ordered a poster back in September for $36. Months went by and I never received it, though whenever I wrote I was told it was coming. After a few more emails, it finally did arrive at the end of December...but carrying none of the original online beauty. Almost like a different piece of work altogether and no way to use it at all.

So I requested a refund.

But I was told no, they would redo but NO refund. Well, at that point I didn't want it dragging on anymore. And had zero desire to squabble with the artist; the saga had already taken enough time. So I ripped it up, released it altogether, and was grateful there wasn't a larger loss. I blessed the artist and just...let go.

And I remembered that God can replace a loss 10 times over if She wishes. Not to worry.

Two days later I opened my mail to find an odd, unexpected check from a local bookstore. Apologizing they had forgotten to pay for copies of "Outrageous Openness" they had sold all the way back... in September.

The amount: $361.50.

(Including what looks like a $1.50 tip from the Goddess ...)

Oh yes, and wait. An oh-so-easily-forgotten postscript: The secret here is to release all resentment, anger or sense of victimization towards the Other. If I had remained mad at the guy who had seemingly taken so much time and trouble it would have without doubt blocked Divine compensation. Resentment reliably and irrevocably blocks the flow of Good. Forgiveness is the key.

So in case you may ask, "How DO I forgive?" a Change Me Prayer can be most helpful. I use them all the time in my own life and with the community on fB where I write most days. (Friend me there if you wish to join us). They allow the turbulent mind and emotions to surrender to the wisdom of the spiritual heart in a very quick and efficient way.

"Change me Divine Beloved into One who knows without question that you are the my unlimited Source for Abundance in all ways. Let me forgive anyone who has hurt me, knowing that You alone provide for all my needs in the most surprising and abundant ways.

Let me know abundance of EVERY kind comes from You alone. Let me neither fear loss nor cling to gain knowing you take care of me in EVERY possible way. And let me relax to enjoy any unexpected gain as Your gift to me.

I am Yours. You are Mine.

We are One."
