A new series is coming to Hallmark channel tonight. On Jan. 11, Buffalo News posted about this new series that you won't want to miss. Hallmark had a huge hit with their original series "Cedar Cove" in 2013.

This new show stars Lori Loughlin. She is best known for her time on "Full House" and the new version of "90210." The new series "When Calls the Heart" was actually a two hour movie that aired on Hallmark and they have now turned it into an actual series. It is based on a book series by Janette Oke.

The show is meant to be a family show that you can let the kids watch and enjoy together. It is different than anything on TV right now and is set in the 1800s. Lori plays a character forced to work in the coal minds after her husband died. The show will also be about a woman who came to their town to help teach the children and many of them lost their fathers in the coal mines.
