The honors keep rolling in for Albert Pujols. A ring, a statue and now a Wheaties box.

In honor of Pujols winning his second World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals, the cereal company is releasing a special edition Wheaties FUEL box bearing the slugger’s picture.

The box will only be available at six stores in Missouri - Schnucks, Dierbergs and Shop N’ Save in St. Louis; Schunks in Des Peres; Dierbergs in Chesterfield and Shop N’ Save in O Fallon -- while supplies last. More details are available on the Wheaties Facebook page.

This is the third time Pujols has been on a Wheaties box. He had his own box for original Wheaties in 2005 and appeared in one of the first boxes for Wheaties FUEL two years ago.

Wheaties FUEL is designed to give athletes nutrition and energy. Pujols and fellow athletes Peyton Manning, Hunter Kemper, Kevin Garnett and Bryan Clay were involved in developing the cereal with a sports nutritionist

The makers of Wheaties FUEL also ran a promotion during the World Series to benefit the Pujols Family Foundation. During the World Series, for every tweet with the hashtag #FuelPujols or message on the Wheaties Facebook page supporting Pujols, the company planned to donate $1 to the foundation, up to $10,000.
