What you should be doing to prepare for the 2012 election

There have not been too many people that I have run into who are not at all pleased about the state of the country right now. That is not much of a surprise though. What is an ironic surprise however are the many people I run into that start off their political conversations with "I voted for Obama because...” It makes you wonder how many of the millions of people who voted for Obama are saying just the same thing in their dinner table conversations.

The reality is, of the millions who did vote for Obama those that did not vote for him are ready to the quick and sometimes with a pretty good cutting response of "well that'll teach you, thanks a lot for being such a fool, I lost my job two years ago and can't find work now, how did that hope and change work for you?"

I suspect that those who voted for Obama, at least a good majority of them are wondering now how they'd been hoodwinked. I'm also here to tell you they weren't hoodwinked, they were purposefully uneducated on the facts of politics and politicians. In other words, they were downright dopes.

It is quite obvious the person promising hope and change lived up to his political promises. We as a country are now really hoping we don't fall into the abyss because with the socialistic liberal policies of Obama change came to this country and now more than typical difficult decisions will have to be made to get America as we knew it back.

Millions of people are unemployed, losing their houses, getting into credit crunches just to survive. What a change from four years ago.

So what can we do as Americans to resolve this and make sure those elected officials who pushed economy destructive policies are never elected again. It's simple; remember these key rules...

- If they are Democrats

- If they are moderates

- If they are the current President

Staying away, voting out of office and otherwise throwing the bums out are the ultimate goal.

But it's not just those three... there is a fourth... educate yourselves on not only the politicians running for office and what they support or don't support but educate yourselves on the issues. It's always a catchy line to hear someone who have political investment into a party, person or political ideology and run with it. But if you don't know all the ins and outs of any given political topic or issue facing our country then you're as much of a dope as those who elected Obama in the first place.

Start now, because in no time at all the election will be upon us and so will the lies, cut throat advertisements, and shrill inside politicos telling you what to think and what to do.

It's time America to stop trusting in the media and Hollywood elite and start seeing the facts as they are... this country is on a brink of no return and it will get worse, not better, if we continue to have class warfare, high taxes, out of control spending and government regulations impeding our way of life.
