Before you go thinking some neo-Nazi is off on an anti-Semitic rant, Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership is producing another of its unique and hard-hitting documentaries. That's the title they gave it.
Regular readers will recall JPFO's "No Guns for Negroes" effort, exposing the racist roots of gun control. This time, they're going after the "bagel brains."
I'll let them tell it:
Did you know our latest handbill ads, attacking Maryland State Democratic politicians Brian E. Frosh and Samuel I Rosenberg as “bagel brains”, and Maryland State Democratic Senator, Michael G. Lenett, generated waves of publicity for the JPFO pro-freedom agenda across the country — in just a matter of hours?
…This included major news outlets such as the Baltimore Sun Times, the Chicago Tribune, CBS News, the San Francisco Examiner, and the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Jewish Weeklies. More emotional publicity than any other project in our 20 year history.
Think we are just talking pie-in-the-sky publicity – not solid results? No so. Within 72 hours of Senator Lenett being confronted with his flyer by a black man, he withdrew his controversial “gun control” bill.

Hutaree update
Over the past week we've talked about the Hutaree militia members being granted a conditional release bond as they await trial, having that release blocked by government appeal, and an affidavit filed by a court officer saying the prosecutor misrepresented the conditions of the release.
Here's the latest, from AM 1590 WTVB:
The U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals says it will decide in several days whether to overturn Judge Roberts' ruling.
I'll let you know when there's further movement on this.

It means "The Truth" in Romanian and it's also the name of one of the main newspapers over there (and one with an...interesting past at that).
I'll be speaking to one of their reporters who's doing a story on American militias later today. Should be fun.
I do hope I get to see the results this time.

Good luck on the interview. Can't help but wonder what agenda they might have. Romania isn't exactly next door you know?
Need to ask the same questions about Christians, "militia" members, Muslims, hippies, tea partiers, and on and on. These groups and many others are rapidly being targeted in the propaganda as somehow too "dangerous" to be allowed gun ownership.
Gun grabbing liberals and liberal states (like Maryland) look for any excuse to disallow guns to certain citizens -- except "Only Ones" of course.
You know what they say, when a conservative doesn't like something, they don't buy it.
When a Liberal doesn't like something, they don't want anyone else to have it, or they legislate and tax it to death.
