Last week, you heard the word about the Creative Writing Workshop being held at the San Carlos Library. Thursdays? 4 pm? Does this ring a bell? I thought so.
Wondering what this class is about? Go! Attend! Check it out!
Led by library aide Chelsey Roos, this workshop has got a lot more tricks up the sleeve than ice-breaking, character-building, and story-making.
Are you not sure where to get ideas? This workshop can help.
Are you not sure where to start? This workshop can help.
Are you a writer with a great idea, but not sure what to do next? This workshop can help.
This workshop can help on all these counts because Roos will provide strategies (READ: NOT homework). Strategies that will help you to start a story, build a story, and wrap up a story.
From Thursday, February 28th through Thursday, March 21st, come be a part of a workshop that will bring you some new ideas. Ever played a Reverse Mad Libs? Yeah, you are going to want to come, attend, and participate.
Do you think that maybe you’re too busy? Got sports? There is something in the activities you do that you love.
That you can write about!
What will be the story that you write?
Will you write about a girl who plays football like Miranda Kenneally in “Catching Jordan?”
Will you write about the things that scare you? Richard Peck could help with that.
But if you never get started, all those things that you like – I mean really like – you won’t be able to write stories about them. So…go…get started with this Creative Writing Workshop, held on Thursdays at 4 pm until March 21st at the San Carlos Library.
