With Halloween less than two weeks away, you may want to watch something chillingly scary to get you in the spirit of the holiday. If you turn on your television, switch over to AMC and catch their FearFest movie marathon which began October 13 and runs right until Halloween.
AMC will be showing terrifying horror classics such as Halloween, Seed of Chucky, The Omen (original version and remake), The Exorcist, Friday the 13th, Alien, Scream, Cujo, The Amityville Horror, and more.
The FearFest marathon also includes some lesser-known scary movies that are both campy and creepy, such as Tremors, Anaconda, and House of Wax. If you’re up early and looking for something more funny than scary, Scary Movie 2 will be playing on October 24 at 4am.
Over on Turner Classic Movie’s channel, all day long on Halloween is a marathon of frightening films from the golden age of Hollywood. Included in the TCM showings are 1957’s The Curse of Frankenstein, 1968’s The Devil’s Bride, and 1965’s Dracula, Prince of Darkness.
