Khloe Kardashian will reportedly file for divorce as early as today in Los Angeles and upon hearing the news, fans everywhere are wondering what the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star will be keeping when it comes time to part ways with her ex-NBA star husband.
Lamar Odom, who is worth a reported $100 million, waived any rights to his reality star wife, who is worth about $18 million, when the pair signed a prenup prior to their wedding. As part of the arrangement, Khloe will keep her and Lamar's $4 million Tarzana home, which has been seen on their spinoff show, Khloe & Lamar, as well as any gifts Lamar has given her during the marriage.
"Khloe will be entitled to $500,000 for each year married to Lamar and she could petition for spousal support," a source with knowledge of the prenup told Radar Online on December 13. "However, she would only be entitled to spousal support from Lamar for half the length of their marriage, which would be less than two years. Lamar waived his rights to seek spousal support from Khloe and any claims to any money she earned from the Kardashian empire. Khloe will remain as the beneficiary on a $10 million life insurance policy Lamar has and that will remain for the rest of their lives."
Khloe and Lamar seemed to be a great pair. Although they decided to get married just a short time after meeting, they appeared to prove critics wrong with years of marriage up until this summer's cheating and drug scandal.
In the meantime, Khloe continues to focus on her businesses and family while Lamar attempts to get his basketball career back on track.
