Consumer Electronic Show is one of the biggest events in technology. Hosted in Las Vegas, it draws thousands of companies who battle with innovative products in an effort to emerge as the next big trend. It’s a popular show for many technology enthusiasts. It seems that every year, Apple always steals the limelight in the show by announcing something that quickly becomes popular their general demographic. However, Apple has remained silent this year, making no major announcement of product introduction or a move towards technological advancement.
Apple likes to build anticipation and amaze people at the right moment in order to capture not only the attention of their audience, but also the creative aspects of their minds. There are as many things that we can expect as there are things we might be surprised by. The rumored Apple TV can be a game changer in the market; it was hinted in Steve Jobs’ biography where he revealed that Apple has supposedly figured out the way TVs are intended to work.
Expectations for the incorporation of Siri runs high, but the key is that a TV is not meant to be surfed, but rather to serve you based on your interest. By simply stating “NBA Games” to the TV, a recommendation list should offer various channels that are streaming basketball games. Many other speculations for the new Apple TV are valid as well.
Macbook Air with Retina display can be another game changing event: not only will Apple be able to dominate the PC market even longer, but they will also improve the current user experience in terms of quality of display.
Apple Watch, or iWatch may be an innovation riddled with surprised; it bases its concept off the iPod Mini, so Apple have every expertise that ensure for it to be a foolproof product. One aspect of the market that has left a void is a health-tracking device. although there are several products in the market, none have yet to dominate.
Apple may just take up that role. The iPhone 5, iPad mini, the new iMac, and the 13 inch Macbook Pro were all announced before the holidays. A major upgrade doesn’t seem to be feasible in this time frame. Only time will tell us if Apple will change the world once again with these new products. In the case that it doesn’t, Consumer Electronic Show will finally have a break from Apple this year.
