What we will miss about Sherri Shepherd who has left 'The View'

'The View' aired Sherri Shepherd's farewell on Monday, Aug. 11 after seven years of being one of the co-hosts. No doubt we have learned some things about the 47-year-old comedian during that time. So, what are we going to miss?

First of all, we will miss seeing Shepherd in a different wig every day. She has her own wig line: LUXHAIR™ NOW™ for Sherri Shepherd™ Collection. In fact, once on the show, she showcased several of her many wigs. Jenny McCarthy and several other women modeled them. Shepherd's wigs come in eighteen different colors ranging from $69.99 to $89.99. She has long ones and short ones. She has straight ones and curly ones. She said all you have to do is take it out of the box, shake it and then put it on your head. The last model wore a clip on bang. So, yes, we will miss seeing Shepherd in her wigs. She never wore the same wig two days in a row.

We will miss hearing Sherri talk about 9-year-old Jeffrey, the son she just won a custody battle to keep after her first husband Jeff Tarpley filed papers to take the boy away claiming his mother was too busy to take care of their special needs son. We have watched Jeffrey grow up and seen him on special occasions. For instance, he was on the show when he and his mother celebrated their birthday since they both share the same birthday. On Sherri's farewell show, it was Jeffrey who gave the final advice to "Take time to enjoy 'The View.'"

We will miss getting the announcement of where Shepherd will be appearing in comedy clubs and other places as she does stand-up comedy.

Then we will miss Shepherd's Christian's viewpoints on certain issues. In fact, according to The Christian Post, Shepherd credited God, the Bible and her faith with the decision to leave the series. She reminded people that the number seven in the Bible is the number of God's completion. Since she has been a co-host on "The View" for seven years she believed her time there was complete. The co-host said when she autographs her scripts, she writes "God bless you." Before the cast goes on to tape a show, Sherri asks people if they would join her in a little prayer.

Sherri has left "The View," but we can still see her in other venues. For instance, she has a role in the upcoming "Ride Along 2" with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart that will be released next year. Also, we can see her on "The Newlywed Game" on the Game Show Network each weekday. She has a starring role as the wicked stepmother in Broadway's "Cinderella" that begins in Sept.

Sherri Shepherd will be gone from "The View," but she promised we will see her again.
