What to wear to rock a job interview

You got the call, "we would like to interview you for this position." You jump up and down for a few seconds celebrating the first step towards your possible new career. Then you stop, trying to decide in your head what you should wear. You want to be able to impress your future bosses and to look professional and put together. Running to your closet for inspiration you can't seem to find anything that looks just right for this interview. There are a few simple outfits you can put together for job interviews that look professional and will have your interviewers impressed with the way you present yourself.

For starters, sticking to neutral colors is the best way to go. Don't show up to an interview in bright pink or neon orange clothes. Stick with blacks, whites and tans. Blacks look professional and whites make your look "clean" and put together.

Pull our a pair of dress slacks, black would be the best color to wear. Next, if you own a blazer that would be a great option to wear. Add a tank top or short sleeve shirt underneath and you've got a nice outfit pulled together. If you don't own a blazer, a cardigan works the same. Another option is to wear a nice blouse instead of a tank top and blazer.

For shoes, stick with closed toe shoes. No bright colors here either. Wear black or nude heels or flats. Minimal accessories also, you don't want to look gaudy and over done. A nice pair of earrings, simple necklace and a watch and bracelet will do just fine.

Go into that interview with your head held high and feel confident knowing that you are dressed for the part!
