If you are preparing for next week, and wondering what you should plan to watch, we have the answers. Firstly, do not forget about the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The two best ways to watch are on NBCSN (NBC Sports Network) live in the morning hours, or on primetime on NBC. There has been a lot of controversial news coverage about the housing conditions in Sochi, but there have also been unusually mild temperatures, and a lot of Olympic Medals.
On Monday, NBC will debut The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Fallon is the sixth person to be a part of The Tonight Show. The show is also back to being filmed in New York. Two other season regular shows to catch are Fox’s Almost Human and CBS’s Intelligence starring Lost’s Josh Holloway. Another debut for Monday is the new CW show Star-Crossed. Sure to be a favorite of CW fans. The CW has a wide variety of modern, science fiction, futuristic shows that capture audience members with stories of family, friends, and love. Star-Crossed previews to be a love story between a human and a humanoid alien, but only time will tell.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday you can catch American Idol’s continued auditions. Tuesday the girls will sing solos, Wednesday the guys, and Thursday the top thirteen finalists will be announced.
Wednesday, be sure to catch the A&E series The Wahlburgers. Interesting family dynamic for a reality show, of course, the twist is that it is also a celebrity family. The series finale of BBC America’s Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond airs on no other then BBC America.
Thursday, the season premiere of the singing show that is painful, for the contestants that is, Killer Karaoke returns to truTV. Will any of the contestants last long enough to win any cash? Before that, be sure to catch the suspenseful season finale of ABC’s The Taste. The show can sometime waste two hours of time, but once you know the contestants, it’s hard to not hope for a certain favorite to win. The suspense is killing fans. So after you watch The Taste, you can catch Killer Karaoke to finish you off.
Finish the week off on Friday with the season premiere of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress! Brides to be try to find their wedding dresses. Sure to be a tear jerker episode with a recovering Army medic who suffered injuries in Afghanistan.
Strangely, NBC is having a series premiere on Saturday. New and returning shows have not aired new episodes on Saturday nights in what feels like years and years. The show is called About a Boy and has decent reviews so far from the critics. Worth a shot if you are up for a Saturday primetime show.
