The game will be broadcast on NBA TV, CSN Bay Area, and TWSN at 7:30 p.m. PT.
Here are things to watch for:
- Splash Brothers. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson shot 35 percent and 36 percent respectively from downtown working out the preseason kinks, but their percentages should increase beginning tonight. Both players have shot above 40 percent for their careers: Curry (44 percent) and Thompson (40 percent).
- Iggy factor. Andre Iguodala's all-around skills were on display throughout the preseason. His shutdown defense and ability to run the point and penetrate and finish at the rim will be essential for a Warrior win. He dished out 14 assists in the exhibition on Oct. 18 in Shanghai, China.
- Bench contributors. The Lakers bench outscored the Clippers starters 76-69 on Tuesday, scoring L.A.'s final 48 points allowing the starters the rest the entire fourth quarter and show up fresh for Golden State. The Warriors lost their brilliant six-seven combination of Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry to free agency, but head coach Mark Jackson is confident with his six through ten spots - Draymond Green, Mo Speights, Toney Douglas, Jermaine O'Neal, and Kent Bazemore - and will insert rookies Nemanja Nedovic and Ognjen Kuzmic into the game at anytime.
P.S. Watch the battle in the paint all night: Andrew Bogut/David Lee vs Pau Gasol/Chris Kaman.
Harrison Barnes (foot) and Festus Ezeli (knee) will not play. ... Kobe Bryant (Achilles) is out for L.A. ... The Warriors won 2-of-3 preseason meetings against the Lakers.
