Space 39 Gallery, the River District’s only hybrid bar and art gallery, is hosting Bi-God!, an exhibit featuring work by photographers Valerie Roche and Downtown Diva Stephanie Davis. It is an interesting mix of pictures accentuated by crucifixes hung by chains, and you can view this intriguing exhibit while sipping an adult beverage during Music Walk on Friday night.
Space 39 is in the alley that connects Patio de Leon to the action on First Street. Located right next door to Morgan House restaurant, the gallery occupies a 1920s building that once served as the ticket office for a vaudeville theater that later burned to the ground. Owner Terry Tincher invites Music Walkers to drop by for an adult beverage in one of the River District's most unique venues.
Spirits of Bacchus is featuring live music by Drunk Monkeys, while at one of the River District’s premier restaurants, The Veranda, you can enjoy the musical stylings of Gary Goetz at their famous Piano Bar.
