What to see and hear during Music Walk on Friday - 9

Music Walk returns to downtown Fort Myers on Friday, February 17, 2012 with a line-up of exciting new bands, groups and solo performers together with fascinating exhibitions in the River District's art galleries and boutiques.

One restaurant that always attracts a crowd is Morgan House. Located in Patio de Leon, this top-quality restaurant always provides live entertainment on their second floor patio. This Friday is not exception. The Oyster Fantastic Band will serenade diners from 7-10 p.m., with DJ Christyle spinning the table from 10 p.m. until closing.

Around the corner, Savvy on First is a boutique that draws a continual stream of shoppers during each month's Music Walk. Located right next door to Arts for ACT Gallery and across the street from Enjewel, “Savvy on First provides a fabulous shopping experience for the discriminating and savvy customer at a sensible price," declares owner Lisa Boucher. "We bring together over 200 artisans to bring you the most current, unique and clever creations, including … art work, unique clothing, gift items, jewelry, handbags and home decor. We carefully select one-of-a-kind pieces that will evoke feelings of joy, amazement, humor and wonder.”

Morgan House and Savvy on First are just two of the River District stalwarts that make Music Walk a fun and varied experience that keeps art and music lovers coming back month after month.
