What to say about the Illegal Alien and the Legal Immigrant

The stance by the Associated Press on the term "illegal alien" is hardly the first time the amnesty/path to legal status crowd have tried to change the language after losing the debate on the next comprehensive immigration reform package. In a way, the AP's stance has brought attention to how the left has had to twist this issue like so many others. Abortion is prochoice, taking guns is somehow stopping mass shootings, taxes are investments, and of course illegal aliens are undocumented immigrants. An attempt to make to make everyone think the phrase undocumented worker failed since anyone paying attention knows that most illegal aliens don't work. When you educate someone on illegal aliens, don't let them change the definition.
